A small conservation project in the centre of Cambridge, England.

The byard art gallery was housed in a townhouse on the market square in Cambridge. During major restoration work and the reconstruction of the townhouse the gallery had to temporarily move to another location. The budget for the townhouse renovation project included the renovation and redevelopment of a small shop on Kings Parade for the gallery. However, after the works on the main project were finished it turned out that the gallery was much better off at Kings Parade than at the market and never returned to its old location.

The woks included restoration of finishes of the shop window, design of all of the furniture for the gallery, exposition light fittings, two staircases to the basement.

The project was carried out in cooperation with architectural practice Bland, Brown and Cole, Cambridge.
