Design of a new educational and conference building for Robinson College, Cambridge. The new building is designed to fill in the gap on College’s grounds previously used as a small car park within the park owned by the College. The investor asked for a prestigious building that would become an architectural icon of the campus and attract guests to summer conferences, as well as an educational space adapted to the needs of disabled students, which main College Buildings were missing. The building houses a multifunctional room on the ground floor that can accommodate for 100 guests for a seated dinner or about 300 for a lecture with fantastic openings with garden views. There are also three conference and educational rooms on first floor, which can be arranged in any configuration thanks to removable partitions used to separate them.
